Lactose free, gluten free and vegan options are available on request.

NB: Our restaurants are outsourced to external operator – Skagen Fiskerestaurant. Obviously Skagen Fiskerestaurant are as committed to sustainability as we are, and the breakfast served at both hotels lives up to our standards, as do the a la carte menus for the remainder of the day.

Conferences

We offer two exquisite conference rooms. One overlooks our verdant courtyard, and another provides a view of the stunning Orangerie, which remains a garden oasis throughout the year. Each room can comfortably accommodate either 10 or 20 individuals and comes equipped with all essential amenities.

Apart from our amenities, we aim to ensure your comfort and satisfaction. Please don’t hesitate to share any additional needs or requests.

Our rooftop spa

Our rooftop spa at Babette Guldsmeden combines the traditional warmth of our Balinese inspiration with simple Nordic elements. 

The spa and lounge area includes a conventional sauna, an invigorating cold-water bucket bath, and a steam bath infused with aromatic essential oils. 

The outdoor relaxation area offers breathtaking views of the Marble Church and the captivating Copenhagen skyline.

Our Garden

At Babette, our outdoor areas offer a range of atmospheres, from tranquil relaxation to lively buzz, tailored to where you decide to unwind. 

Whether you’re sipping on coffee, enjoying a meal, or simply taking in some fresh air, there’s a spot for you!

The courtyard provides a warm refuge, complete with comfortable lounging furniture and soft rugs for cooler days. Our cherished Orangerie, transformed from a former carriageway, presents a lush Mediterranean oasis for your enjoyment.

The café tables positioned at the front overlook a picturesque park and stunning neighboring architecture. This vibrant intersection is always teeming with life, offering a dynamic view.

Skagen Fiskerestaurant

Skagen Fiskerestaurant has established a restaurant in Babette Guldsmeden’s cozy lounge and courtyard.

The restaurant is decorated  with cottage trays, the Swedish red color, and sand on the floor andit delivers a culinary journey deeply rooted in authenticity. Their unwavering commitment to high-quality, local, and sustainable products mirrors the values we cherish at Guldsmeden Hotels. We’re passionate about offering our valued guests a dining experience that stands out in our elegant settings.

As a gesture of our gratitude, all guests of Guldsmeden Hotels receive a 10% discount at Skagen Fiskerestaurant. Moreover, those visiting on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday can indulge in our champagne-and-oyster bar.

Change of bed linen?

As you probably know, we’re very focused on sustainability – and we’re just as focused on giving you the very best experience while you’re here!

With both of these goals in mind, we have decided to implement a new feature, and put you in charge of how often and when you wish to have your bed linen changed.

Needs and tastes differ – we want you to have your preferences met, and feel as comfortable as possible while you’re under our roof.

So when and if you wish to have your bed linen changed, please place the ‘Bed linen’ postcard on your bed before you leave the room in the morning, and we’ll get it done same day.

What to do in the neighborhood?

Babette Guldsmeden is located in the classic historical part of Copenhagen, close to many major attractions such as the Royal Palace, the Little Mermaid, the Design Museum, SMK and much more places to enjoy.

Just across the street, we are blessed with Kastellet, a beautifully preserved 16th-century-star fortress that houses a church, a lovely windmill, several old canons and a beautiful view to Holmen, and the Opera, located on the other side of the canal.

Do not miss a walk or a run in the park, which is like stepping several centuries back in time.

The heart of inner-city Copenhagen is only a few minutes walk away, with the picturesque canals of Nyhavn, leading to the King’s New Square, the Royal Theatre, and the streets inviting for lots of shopping and further cultural attractions.
