FAQ – Belle Guldsmeden

Belle is located in the Sydhavnskvarteret district, just a short walk from the city centre and close to the lively pulse of Aarhus.

To reach the centre, simply follow Spanien towards Dokk1 and continue into the heart of the city.

Belle is approximately a 10-minute walk from both Aarhus Central Station and Aarhus Rutebilstation, the main bus station in Aarhus.

There is no free parking in central Aarhus. Find more info about parking in Aarhus here

Before 1 September:
We recommend using one of the nearby parking facilities in the area. Current options include Bruuns Galleri, Q Park Filmbyen, DGI Huset, Dokk1, Toldbodgade via EasyPark, Salling, Navitas, and public parking options around Jægergårdsgade and the surrounding area.

We are continuously working on additional parking options, so this information may become more specific closer to opening.

From 1 September:
There will be a Q-Park parking facility located close to the hotel.

From Aarhus Airport, the easiest option is to take airport bus 925X to Aarhus Banegårdsplads. From there, the hotel is around a 10-minute walk away.

From Billund Airport, you can take airport bus 912X to Aarhus Banegårdsplads and then walk to the hotel.

A taxi is also an option, and we have an agreement with DanTaxi.

Breakfast may or may not be included, depending on the type of booking.

We recommend checking the details carefully before completing your reservation, as we currently offer several different booking options.

Some rooms will offer different views, but as the hotel opens in phases, we cannot guarantee specific views until all rooms are available.

We are happy to note any wishes in your booking, but please note that specific views cannot be guaranteed before September — and possibly a little earlier, depending on the opening schedule.

Yes. Belle is within walking distance of several of Aarhus’ cultural highlights.

Dokk1, ARoS and Musikhuset can be reached in approximately 15–20 minutes on foot. Den Gamle By is also easy to reach by public transport.

A taxi is also an option, and we have an agreement with DanTaxi.

Bicycles will not be available at the hotel until around August/September. We will update our information once they are ready.

In the meantime, we recommend using Donkey Republic, which is available around the city.

Naturally, we warmly recommend our own restaurant, where the focus is on organic ingredients and carefully prepared food. Our chef also has experience cooking for the Danish royal family several times a year, so you will be in good hands.

Nearby options in Sydhavnskvarteret include SYV NI, STUEN TV and MØR.

If you feel like exploring further, Aarhus city centre offers a wide selection of restaurants and cafés within walking distance.

The nearest bus stop is Spanien, currently served by bus 31.

For more public transport options, we recommend heading to Aarhus Rutebilstation, Park Allé/Banegårdspladsen, or Dokk1, where you can also access Letbanen lines 1 and 2.

Yes, dogs are welcome at the hotel. Please note that we only allow dogs, and a fee of DKK 350 applies per stay.

• One dog per room is allowed.
• Dogs are only allowed in rooms located on the 3rd floor.
• Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant or bar area.
• Additional charges may apply in case of damage or disturbance.

Yes, baby cots are available in our larger room categories. They cannot be added to Double or Twin rooms.

A baby cot costs DKK 300 per stay, but can only be added via request on mail: Belle@guldsmedenhotels.com

Breakfast is served Monday to Friday from 06:30 to 10:30, and on weekends from 07:00 to 11:00.

Yes, early check-in and late check-out can be requested for Double and Twin rooms, subject to availability.

• Late check-out: until 15:00 — DKK 300

Day passes are not available during the opening period. From 1 September, a limited number of day passes will be available. More information will follow later.
