Our story

In 1999, Sandra and Marc Weinert initiated their journey by opening their first Hotel Guldsmeden in Guldsmedgade, Århus. Today, their legacy has expanded to include 10 hotels across Copenhagen, Berlin, Bremen, Oslo, and now opening in Aarhus July 1st, 2026.

Notably, each of their Danish hotels carries a special touch, being lovingly named after their loved ones. Their portfolio also boasts a stunning rental villa in Menton, France, and a luxury resort in Ubud, Bali.

From the outset, the Weinerts have been driven by principles of luxurious simplicity, genuine hospitality, a welcoming ambiance, and steadfast commitment to sustainability.

Their mission? To offer guests a delightful stay with minimal environmental impact while also sharing insights into sustainable daily practices.
